Our client desired to build out their third floor to have a get-away space and more fully utilize their attic. They reached out to us on a neighbor’s recommendation. We developed a concept vision with an open, durable, airy, casual feel; full of storage and complete with a secret passage and door!
The open area of the attic features faux beams and wood-look LVT for a realistic yet low maintenance flooring solution.
Our design successfully transformed attic into a fully usable space complete with bathroom and built-in bed for guests. Adding a fireplace allowed us to anchor the seating area creating a point of focus.
We designed a built-in bed surround complete with built-in shelves and storage drawers and luggage closets. The bedding selected is reminiscent of a cottage vacation home.
Nestled under the eaves the attic, this cozy bathroom utilizes every inch. Seated areas were placed at lower elevations.
Adding a skylight allowed us to increase the natural light in the space while maintaining privacy.
